Forensic investigations involve research and analysis regarding equipment, vehicle, and/or structure damage, as well as personal injury.  Infinity Forensics has experience in numerous fields in order to support these forensic investigations.  In addition to technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and fire protection systems, Infinity Forensics also holds certifications in electrical contracting and vehicle/structure fire investigation.  With over 30 years of engineering experience, and over 20,000 hours of hands on electrical and mechanical installation, design, and maintenance activities, Infinity Forensics couples this experience with approximately 2,000 forensic cases investigated over nearly 15 years.  Engineer Brian Vandal holds professional engineering licensure in 10 US states, and has completed investigations across the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Guatemala.  Infinity Forensics can offer budgets up front for investigations and has the ability to partner with other disciplines in support of large scope forensic investigations.  Investigation services that can be supported include site/equipment inspections, evidence recovery, supporting lab services, and testimony in state/federal venues.  Our lab in San Jose is capable of hosting inspections of retrieved evidence, which include in-house x-ray, and capability of working with a third party for computed tomography (CT) scanning of evidence as needed.
