Brian Vandal is a degreed electrical and fire protection engineer as well as a master electrician and licensed electrical contractor. In addition, he is a licensed professional electrical engineer while also holding certifications in fire investigation with the International Association of Arson Investigators and National Association of Fire Investigators. Along with over 34 years of engineering experience, Brian also has over 20,000 hours of installation, maintenance, and design of electrical systems to include residential, commercial, industrial facilities as well as data centers, uninterruptible power supplies and generator systems.

He has worked in multiple fields to include electrical utility, vehicle wiring and connection design, underground coal mining, telecommunications, and construction.
Brian also holds a masters degree in fire protection engineering and has designed and installed fire detection systems.

Kurtis Saiyo is a registered professional engineer in California specializing in engineering analysis for failures that result in property damage, personal injury, or wrongful death. He applies knowledge of mechanical and thermodynamic principles in laboratory and scene examination, data collection and analysis of failures, and provides support, consulting, and expert testimony for the purpose of litigation.

Kurtis examines residential and commercial structures, HVAC and refrigeration systems, commercial processing, and manufacturing equipment, consumer and commercial appliances, residential and commercial kitchen and hood systems as well as plumbing and fire suppression systems. He is also skilled at utilizing CAD, mathematical modeling, and computer simulation to test hypotheses and communicate engineering findings. In addition, he has investigation experience involving locomotives, passenger, and commercial vehicles.
Kurtis has also worked with the Department of Justice Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives National Response Team.
